HOF Art Residency is a collaboration between Surface Arts and HOF Art. Right in the heart of Sukhumvit in Bangkok, the place allows a focal point, gathering and exhibition space for artists. HOF Art Residency is housed in a 5 storey building with a café/bar, accommodations, studios, gallery space, rooftop kitchen and social space.

Application deadline:

Open call, all year round

Residency length:

One month and above suggested, shorter stays can be negotiated.

Residency expectations:

HOF emphasizes on innovation and collaboration to promote exchange of cultures and the development of the art community. Artists in residence are expected to collaborate and engage the art community.

HOF at Sluice Art Fair

Residency fees:

35,000 THB per month per artists.

What the fees cover:

Accommodation, BTS Smart Pass, one time transport to and flo to airport/ bus/ train station, welcome tour, maps, tea, coffee and drinking water, access to workshops at HOF and invitations to art events in Bangkok, discount card for HOF Café Bar and support from HOF team of artists.

What the resident will be expected to arrange/pay for him/herself:

Travelling cost, visa arrangements, health insurance, work material and any other expenses.

Additional info:

50% deposit is to be made before upon confirmation and the balance to be paid within 7 days of commencing the residency.
