Taking place from 4-16 July, 2017 in Singapore, the inaugural Nanyang International Music Competition aims to provide a platform for musicians from around the world to challenge themselves and to reach higher standards of performance. More importantly, it seeks to inspire and to foster musical exchange within a supportive community of like-minded people.
“Aligned with the NAFA mission to inspire learning and growth through the arts, we hope that this competition would inculcate creative attitudes and a spirit of curiosity and responsibility in our young musicians as they come together to showcase their talents.”
Prizes for winners range from SG100 (third prize, Division E3, ensemble junior) – SG5,000 (Division A, solo artist).
