Why study Foundation in Sound and Music?
Sound and music plays a subtle but key role in our daily lives—from the simple pings that mobile phone apps make, to the patter of rain in movies, to the crisp sound transmission of instruments in live events, to the recording mix of your favourite music album. Digital technology is changing the way music is produced, distributed, and consumed.
The music, film, TV, and gaming industries will always be in need of sound and music professionals. In fact, the IFPI (a Switzerland-based organization representing 1,300 record companies worldwide) reported a 4.3% growth or USD 5.9 billion in digital music revenue for 2013.
